Captain Furimun's Desert Island Tour,

The Furimun Captain's Desert Island Tour is limited to one tour group per tour!

The tour departs from Hamahika Island in Uruma City, which is said to be a "power spot" of high energy in Okinawa, and is known by may as "the island where the gods live", to a "deserted island" that can only be reached by boat.

Since this is a private tour including only members of your group you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the deserted island all to yourself in a completely carefree manner.


The Capitain's Desert Island Tour offers the following services,

Transportation to and from the deserted island
Marine activities on the deserted island
Photo/video shot by our professional staff and delivered to you

This tour has 3 options to choose from,

You can enjoy either the morning plan, afternoon plan, or full-day plan!

Tour Details

①Round-trip transit to and from the island

＜Travel time to the uninhabited island takes approximately 15 minutes>

Travel time is only 15 minutes, so no need to worry about becoming sea-sick on this short yet epic journey.

<Means of Transportation

Depart from Higa Fishing Port or Hamahika Beach on Hamahika Island, Uruma City, to the uninhabited island>

The route takes you from either the Higa Fishing Port or Hamahika Beach on Hamahika Island in Uruma City to the desert island. We offer travel options by way of:

Japanese boat (similar to a long skiff in the US)

Personal Watercraft

Banana boat (towed by PWC) *Depending on the number of guests and your preferred way of travel, you call each ride the banana boat.

Imagine the rush of excitement while you and your besties zip across a crystal clear Okinawan ocean on your way to a desert island.

This luxurious and extraordinary experience will melt your stress and leave you feeling relaxed and stress-free!

＜What is this underwater mailbox? > 

Underwater Post Boxes are installed by our company on the seabed in an eco friendly manner.

The Post Box acts as a shelter for small fish and also affords you a unique opportunity!

This service allows you to write a letter to yourself one year from now and post it to the underwater mailbox.

The letter will be delivered by Captain Furimun to your home one year later!

Reservations

Once you have confirmed the tour package  and consulted us on the dates you wish to join the tour, please make an official reservation on LINE.

*Tentative reservations can be made, but during the season, dates fill up quickly, so the tentative reservation period is limited to 3 days.

*If you wish to pay by bank transfer in advance, please do so by the time of the tour date.

Tour day info
Once you have made a reservation, we will contact you regarding the flow of the day's activities and preparations.

Please check the information provided and make preparations accordingly.
Step.4
Tour Participation

Please meet at "Higa Fishing Port, Hama Higa Island" in Uruma City by the meeting time on the day of the tour.

We will take you to the island by boat, PWC, etc. where you can enjoy marine activities on the uninhabited island!

Please pay before departure if you pay in cash on the day of the tour.

Receive photos and video

Turnover time for editing takes about a week, after which 

we will send you photos and videos taken by our professional staff

All of the files will be prepared and sent digitally to you through LINE.

Is there an age requirment or limitation?

The standard age is 5 years old to those who can walk independently, but please consult with us if you have infants or younger toddlers.

What is the maximum number of people allowed?
A
We can accommodate from 2 to 14 people. The maximum number of guests varies depending on the number of children (elementary school age and under) and adults, so please contact us for more information.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?
A
Please prepare your own food and beverages. There are vending machines near the meeting point at Higa Fishing Port, but no convenience stores or supermarkets are available.　We will provide cooler boxes (ice) to keep the food cool, so please feel free to ask us.

Is there a shuttle service to and from the desert island departure point?
A
Transportation is available for a fee for groups of 10 or more.
(27-passenger microbus with driver ¥50,000)
Unless you have a large group and special travel plans it is best if you bring your own car (rental car) or take a cab or other means of transportation.
